The Paintball German International Open 2006 is a must see three day event that is held for the first time as a European National Official NPPL Feeder Event. It is the start off one of the first European and German Tournaments of the NPPL Feeder Series and will be held the 11.-13.th of August 2006 in the city of Berlin at the “Zentraler Festplatz” in Tegel. All the scores will be incorporated in the overall scores of the NPPL Circuit. Berlin is „the“cultural melting pot in Europe, Scene-Spot and world metropolis that complies with the ideal requirements of a European Tournament.

The „Zentrale Festplatz“ has a total Area of 4.848 sqmiles, located directly next to the Airport Tegel (A100) in the city, access with public transportation is excellent.

There will be 3 Divisions: Division 4: €5.250 Euro, Division 5: €2.250, Open Division: € 7.500, -.The Prices for winners are in cash value of € 15.000 Euros for this first Event.

There are hotels on our search engine that have rooms for 3 nights at rates of € 35,- per person.  We have a great agreement with Europe’s biggest Hotel “The Estrel” with (€ 65,- Euros the Room per night no matter if double or single Bedroom, breakfast not included) the Hotel is a little further from the site but there will be a shuttle service providing rides to the field and back.

The Sport has not yet been promoted very well in the open German Media during the last years because of difficult political Situations and controversies. This Event is a historical cross point that has to show that a lot has happened in the past development of the Sport. The Hype of it has to catch the German public, so the best would be to show them that there is a huge Platform and a great potential for it so that Paintball can expand. The more players we get, the less expensive the sport will turn out to be one day.

This shall be an every year returning established Event, which will pull the attention of a broad Audience, VIP‘s, Teams and Media worldwide. So it shall be the Start of an International understanding and Globalisation of the Paintball Community.
